BSkyB has released a TV from Sky app for the PlayStation 4.
The 59.7MB download is available from the PlayStation Store now.
The app lets you stream live and on demand TV on PS4, but you need a Sky Go Extra subscription. This is an extra £5 on top of your existing Sky subscription, unless you've got Sky Multiscreen, in. Your Sky account must have Sky Go Extra. This is included with the Sky Mobile, Sky Multiscreen, Sky Q experience, and Ultimate on Demand packages. Alternatively, it can be added to your account for an additional cost. You also need at least 250MB available space on your console’s hard drive. Else, contact Sky (0330 041 3000) and add the Sky Go Extra (£5+) add-on to your existing Sky TV subscription. You will need it to get the “TV from Sky” app activated on your PS4. Next, go to the PlayStation Store and download the “TV from Sky” app on PS4. Launch “TV from Sky” from the TV & Video section of the PS4 home screen.

Sky Go Extra is useful because it lets you register up to four devices, with concurrent online viewing on two devices.
